In honor of the home you’re building in one another and in every place you enter.
In honor of the legacy that came before you and the one you’ll leave behind.
In honor of all those you love, all in one place.
In honor of the messy, imperfect moments that make you feel alive.
In honor of you.
As I observe you and all that you love, know that I am photographing your world the way I would want someone to carefully photograph mine.
I approach a wedding day with a careful, observant eye, paying attention to the small in-between moments of joy, laughter, and love that occurs when you and all your favorite people are in one room. I mix statement, editorial portraiture that captures you in an honest way with candid, documentary photos from the moments you're wrapped up in. Together, these photos help tell the story of how your wedding day happened, hopefully better than you remember it. My joy is to capture photos of moments that you didn't even know occurred or moments that you wished someone was there to take a photo of. That "oh my gosh, I'm so glad we have a photo of this" feeling is incomparable because it means your day was photographed from the perspective of someone who cares for you.
