Hiring Ariah was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just capture how our wedding looked, she captured exactly how it felt.

If Ariah's photos alone aren't enough to convince you to hire her, let me give you a few more reasons. Hiring Ariah was genuinely one of the best decisions I made and one of the easiest, least stressful parts of the entire wedding planning process.

I loved her photography style from the start. She listened so carefully, and it was clear from the beginning that she genuinely wanted to understand our vision. For Ariah, it wasn't just about photographing our wedding. It was about capturing the feeling, energy, and meaningful moments of the day. By our second meeting, I had given her a Pinterest board with maybe 20 inspiration photos, and she took it and ran with it. She exceeded my expectations throughout the entire planning process. I always felt like she just got it. I knew I could take a back seat when it came to photography and fully trust that we would be happy with the result. I never had to over-explain myself or worry about how everything would come together on the wedding day.

On the day itself, Ariah brought such a peaceful and calming presence. My husband and I are not naturally big picture takers, but she made the entire experience feel effortless. Rather than making us feel like we were constantly posing, she always seemed to be right around the corner, perfectly positioned to capture each moment as it naturally unfolded. Even the more posed photographs felt genuine, comfortable, and completely true to us.

Everything about the way she moved through the day felt serene and intentional. Nothing ever felt forced or pressured. Photography simply felt like a natural part of the celebration. I genuinely could not have asked for a better wedding day, and Ariah was such a huge part of making it everything I had dreamed of.

I would choose you over and over again, you always figure out how to make the photo better than the imagination.

I don’t even know where to begin. From the moment I met Ariah, I knew she was someone special. We were introduced through a mutual friend when I was looking for a photographer for our engagement photos and from the first interaction, it felt like we had been friends forever.

My husband and I were planning a destination wedding and had chosen the venue of our dreams, Esperanza in Cabo. Capturing it perfectly was a top priority. The easy and expected route would have been to go with the resort’s recommended photographers who had shot there countless times and knew all the standard “spots and shots”. But after receiving our engagement photos from Ariah, there was no question in our minds that we needed her. Ariah has a gift—she can make magic with even the most limited resources. We had our engagement photos taken at Nomade in Austin, Texas and it appears we are in a tropical destination spot.

She doesn’t just take photos; she creates moments. Even though she had never been to our venue, we trusted her completely because she has an eye, a vision, and a craft that’s unmatched. Leading up to the wedding, she met with us multiple times via Zoom to discuss our vision in detail. She went above and beyond by arriving in Cabo early to meet our planner, scout the venue, and review the inspiration photos we’d sent.

On our wedding day, Ariah wasn’t just our photographer, she was our calm, our cheerleader, and, at times, our unofficial planner. Somehow, she wore every hat with grace. And the photos!!! I still don’t have the words. She didn’t just meet our expectations; she shattered them. Like I said, it would have been easy to go with someone who had shot at the venue innumerable times, but Ariah had a new and fresh perspective and made our photos unique. Every detail, every emotion, every fleeting moment was captured. These photos are now some of our most treasured memories, and we will cherish them forever.

Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you can make. The day itself flies by in a blur, but your photos are what stay with you. They are the tangible memories of one of the most meaningful days of your life. Ariah understands that deeply. She doesn’t just photograph the obvious moments, she finds the quiet, emotional, often unseen ones too.

Since then, Ariah has become so much more than a photographer to us. We asked her to shoot my brother’s proposal, and next year she’ll be photographing his wedding. She’s now our go-to for everything, and it’s hard to imagine these milestone moments without her there. Ariah is not only incredibly talented, she’s someone who pours her heart into her work, and it shows. We are endlessly grateful for her, and we can’t wait for the many more memories she’ll capture for our family.

There are truly no words that can fully capture the gratitude I feel for Ariah and the gift she gave me on my wedding day. I believe with my whole heart that Ariah was sent to me like an angel—graceful, calm, grounded, and exceptionally talented. In a moment of high emotion and tight timelines, she stepped in with the kind of presence you rarely come across: warm, creative, and quietly powerful. She wasn’t just a photographer—she was a calming force, an artist, and even a part of my ceremony.

Our wedding was small and intimate—a micro ceremony in a church in Austin—and from the moment Ariah arrived, she immediately understood what I wanted. With such limited time, she managed to capture every single shot I envisioned—without me even having to say much. It was like she read my mind. The moody, vintage-inspired images she created for us were beyond anything I could have hoped for. Every frame she delivered was filled with texture, emotion, light, and soul. She has such a sharp eye for beauty in the in-between moments—the quiet glances, the sacred stillness, the realness. Her work is art.

But what makes Ariah truly unforgettable is her heart. When I realized I needed someone to read during the ceremony and didn’t have anyone else, Ariah volunteered without hesitation. She stood beside me not just as my photographer but as someone who genuinely cared. That is who she is—someone who shows up fully and gives her all, both in her craft and in who she is as a human being.

If you’re looking for someone who will not only document your day but elevate it—someone who will treat your memories with care, artistry, and soul—Ariah is the one. She is cool, kind, wildly creative, and such a joy to be around. I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed, and I will cherish the work she created for me for the rest of my life. Ariah, thank you for giving me timeless magic. You truly are one of a kind.

What started as a chance encounter on an airplane turned into one of the most meaningful relationships to come out of my wedding!

shelby & tre

If you had told me when my mom called me and said, “I sat next to a photographer on the plane home and I think she should do your wedding,” that I would not only hire her, but genuinely consider her a friend by the end of it all, I probably would have laughed. In fact I did laugh. My initial thought was definitely, “Yeah, right, Mom I am not hiring a random person you sat next to on a plane.” But, to appease her I set up a meeting anyway. And from the very first conversation I had with Ariah, I couldn't help but love her. My mom loves to take credit for this but it's all Ariah, she is a literal ray of sunshine.

Our wedding planning journey was… tumultuous to say the least. We changed themes, venues, catering, bar service, and even the entire season of the year that we were getting married in. At some points, it felt like absolutely everything was changing except for the fact that I was still going to marry my fiancé, and I knew who would be taking the photos. Through every single change, Ariah was the constant. She never made me feel like I was being difficult or like I was inconveniencing her. Instead, she was right there with me through all of it. She sent multiple Pinterest boards, helped me think through ideas I hadn't even considered, and our scheduled 30 minute FaceTimes somehow regularly turned into hours of talking.

One of the things I appreciated most about Ariah was that she never made our wedding feel like a photoshoot. I went into this with very few rules or expectations and gave her a lot of creative freedom, and I could not be happier that I did. She documented our day in a way that felt completely authentic to us. There was never a feeling of having to fake a reaction, pretend something happened, or constantly stop what we were doing to recreate a moment for a photo. She has such an incredible ability to observe what is happening and somehow perfectly capture the feeling of it.

This was especially important to me because my husband does NOT enjoy taking photos. When something feels staged, he becomes an awkward smiler almost immediately. I was honestly a little nervous about how that would translate into our wedding photos, but Ariah completely changed that experience for him. She made everything feel so natural that he actually had a great time taking photos, which, for him, is saying a lot. Looking through our gallery, I don't see forced smiles or awkward poses. I see him as he actually is, and I see us as we actually are. I was laughing at him for how many buttons he had unbuttoned by the end of the night but even those photos with his friends and bandmates are so funny and ended up being some of my favorites, I know we will be looking back at those for many years.

Stunning doesn't even begin to cover how amazing the photos are. The film photos in particular are some of my absolute favorites. Ariah made absolute art out of our day, and she delivered in a way that exceeded anything I could have imagined. It is one thing to see portfolios of her work from other weddings but it's something else entirely when it's you and the people you love in the picture. Our gallery doesn't just feel like a collection of pictures, they are all of the little moments, the big emotions, the people we love, the atmosphere, and all of the things that made the day ours.

Ariah also cared about so much more than just getting the photos. She was an advocate for us throughout the planning process and on the wedding day making sure what we wanted was the priority, and she balanced demanding family members so well. I applaud her, she wears many hats. She helped us think through timelines and details, offered insight when we didn't even know what questions to ask, and was willing to step in and make decisions when it meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves. I never felt like I had to manage her or worry about whether something was getting captured. I trusted her completely.

Not only did she bring me my wedding dress to the church day of, she also drove to Franklin TN and picked up my veil from the bridal shop and flew it to me in Texas before the wedding! She is the literal definition of going the extra mile. I can't even count how many times she saved the day before the day even arrived. That level of care extended to our guests as well. She wasn't just someone moving around the room with a camera. She was genuinely engaged with our family and friends, and somehow made people feel comfortable around her almost immediately. By the end of the weekend, it really did feel like she had become part of our group.

Most importantly, Ariah was a peaceful presence during what can be an incredibly overwhelming season of life. Wedding planning can come with so many moving pieces and so much stress, and having someone there who made everything feel lighter was invaluable. I always felt like I could ask her anything, talk through anything, or change my mind about anything. Nothing ever felt off limits, and she was always honest, kind, and incredibly reassuring. I think the best way I can describe the experience is that I didn't just hire a photographer, I gained a friend, an advocate, and someone I completely trusted with one of the most important days of my life.

I am so grateful my mom happened to sit next to Ariah on that airplane, because that random conversation somehow led me to the person who captured our wedding more beautifully and authentically than I ever could have imagined. I hope when Tre and I are laughing together reminiscing on these photos in 30 years that I am still texting them to Ariah as well. I want to keep her forever! If you're considering working with Ariah, I genuinely cannot recommend her enough. Trust her, give her the creative freedom, and let her do what she does best. You will end up with photographs that are beautiful, unique, and that feel completely like you. You will also gain an advocate and an absolute gem of a friend. She's the entire package!

With so much love,
Shelby Acker

You will make a lot of decisions in this season, I can say with full confidence hiring Ariah should be the best, easiest, and most joyful decision you can make.

Hiring Ariah was the best decision we made in our wedding season. Since the inception of our relationship, I could tell how big her heart was, how infectious her energy is, and how committed she was to playing such a positive part of our day. Her energy, ability to capture our day most beautifully, and her all around presence and aura were the biggest gift on our wedding day and a gift that continues on through her friendship and the pictures she took. Not only does she understand the assignment, she delivered so so so much more than we could ever ask for!

We had a super intimate family only wedding, any single vendor or person was really up close and personal and it takes a specific person to jive with everyone. She jumped right into action, offering to steam my dress (?!) give me a few more mins getting ready, and go with the flow. My husband and I have not a lot of patience to take pics and she made it so fun and comfortable.

My only regret is that she doesn’t live closer and I didn’t get more time with her. She made an already perfect day even better in a way I didn’t think possible.

If you are still thinking about it or still shopping, don't. You've found HER! Ariah Jade is talented beyond belief. She blew our expectations away with the way she captured our love and personality and I can't believe we get to look at these images and perfectly relive this day for the rest of our lives.

The end result isn't the only phenomenal thing about working with Ariah. It's the first phone call, the first meeting that made me know I had made the right choice. She is personable and goes above and beyond to know you and your partner. Which is why she is able to so beautifully capture your vision.

Day of, she made me feel comfortable, but also pulled a level of confidence out of me that I am so thankful for. She is kind, a ball of joy, funny and above all else, extremely professional. The pictures honestly speak for themselves. Do yourself a favor and let Ariah capture the best day of your life, because you deserve to have photos that will make you smile until forever!

Ariah is trustworthy and hardworking, so she went the extra mile to make sure our day was successfully and beautifully captured, and we had one less thing for us to think about.

We absolutely LOVED having Ariah as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos. She gracefully balanced professionalism with intentionality. She was so active in her communication and structured in her process. She was also so positive, encouraging, and friendly throughout. This makes her such a trustworthy professional who empowers her clients to feel 100% supported the entire time leading up to their wedding day.

We felt like a good phrase to describe our wedding day was that it felt "covered in prayer", and Ariah certainly contributed to that. She walked and prayed with us throughout our entire wedding planning - from discussing our shot lists and preferences months before to taking care of post-wedding needs, like ordering prints and sharing photos with vendors, months after.

We are so pleased with our beautiful photos and would definitely recommend her to all of our engaged friends!

On one of the most meaningful and unforgettable days of my life, I truly couldn’t have imagined anyone more perfect to have by my side than Ariah. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calming presence and gently reminded me to stay grounded in what the day was really about—a covenant between God, me, and my husband. She helped ease the stress, quiet the chaos, and allowed me to be fully present in every moment.

Ariah has such a gift—not just for photography, but for storytelling. She captured every detail with intention and grace, highlighting not only the beauty of the day, but also our personalities, our emotions, and the deep love we felt from our family and friends. Even when timelines got tight, she handled everything with professionalism and ease, never making us feel rushed.

She created space for us to pause, breathe, and soak in the moment as husband and wife—something we’ll forever be grateful for. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the best day of our lives over and over again. If I had to plan my wedding again, Ariah would be absolutely be there!
